Propose a Special Issue

Special Issues Policy

Cancer Biome and Targeted Therapy welcomes proposals for guest-edited Special Issues that highlight emerging research areas, recent advances, interdisciplinary themes, or underrepresented topics relevant to the journal’s scope.

Researchers interested in proposing a Special Issue are invited to submit a proposal outlining:

• The proposed title and scientific theme
• The significance and relevance of the topic
• A preliminary description of the intended scope
• Potential contributors or areas of coverage

All Special Issue proposals are evaluated by the journal’s editorial team based on scientific relevance, editorial quality, and alignment with the journal’s aims and standards.

Role of Guest Editors

Guest Editors may assist in developing the scientific scope of the Special Issue, identifying relevant topics, and encouraging submissions from qualified researchers.

All manuscripts submitted to Special Issues undergo the journal’s standard editorial assessment and independent peer-review process. Editorial decisions are made by the journal’s editorial team or assigned handling editors in accordance with the journal’s peer-review and ethics policies.

Guest Editors do not make unilateral publication decisions regarding submitted manuscripts.

Editorial Standards

Manuscripts submitted to Special Issues are evaluated according to the same standards of scientific rigor, ethical compliance, peer review, and editorial oversight applied to regular submissions.
